Serving Wilkes County since 2001, Byrd Ridge Crisis Center began as a small church outreach and has grown into a community-supported ministry dedicated to providing food, hope, and compassion to families in need.

Our Mission

For more than two decades, our mission has remained simple: to serve our neighbors, meet needs with compassion, and demonstrate the love of Christ to families throughout Wilkes County.

To see a community where no family faces hunger or hardship alone, and where neighbors come together to share hope, compassion, and the love of Christ with those in need.

Where are we located?

Byrd Ridge Crisis Center is located inside the Peace Haven Baptist Church Family Life Center in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.

Peace Haven Baptist Church has graciously provided the facilities that allow us to carry out our mission, including space for food storage, preparation, distribution, and serving the families who come to us for assistance. We are incredibly thankful for the church's continued support and partnership.
